Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query under its own practices. Lauderdale County Court Docket does not maintain a local database of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to the resource may be retained so it can be answered. It is not shared outside the organization except where a legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Server and analytics services can collect technical information generated by a visit.
- Device IP address
- Browser and version
- Device type and operating system
- Viewed pages and time on page
- Referring website, if any
- Page-view timestamps
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that can help measure traffic and site use. Analytics may aggregate those measurements. A browser can block cookies, although some features may function differently as a result.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and message data is used for ordinary operation of the resource.
- Operating and maintaining the site
- Passing a submitted search to its provider
- Assessing which reference pages are useful
- Diagnosing technical problems
- Delivering advertising that may be relevant to a visitor
No Court-Record Data on File
Lauderdale County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain court dockets or personal case-record databases. It provides general routing information for official Lauderdale County clerks, courts, PAMEC, and municipal contacts. It is not a consumer reporting agency and does not turn visitor data into consumer reports or third-party screening records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information entered there is subject to the partner's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules. The resource does not control those policies. Review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links can lead to official Mississippi court, clerk, city, town, and statewide access sources, as well as third-party services. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Some advertising providers may track activity across websites on systems outside this resource.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be processed by:
- Search providers handling submitted queries
- Analytics providers measuring performance
- Ad networks serving page advertisements
- Government bodies responding to a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the data collected. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed completely secure, so no policy can promise that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. If such information is believed to have been provided, contact the resource so the issue can be reviewed and addressed.
Your Data Rights
Visitors may ask about personal information held through a direct communication, request correction of an error, request deletion where appropriate, or ask about available processing choices. These policy terms do not create rights beyond applicable law. For public government records, Mississippi's Public Records Act, including Mississippi Code Sections 25-61-5, 25-61-7, 25-61-11, and 25-61-13, addresses access, exemptions, fees, and enforcement. Court records are also subject to judicial rules and the judiciary's separate-branch access policies, so the Act is not a promise of access to every court record.
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised. An updated version will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
Effective date: August 28, 2026
